Clean and Crisp - BFC MA Winner

Style :

It has just been announced that the first menswear designer to win the British Fashion Council MA Scholarship is Thomas Crisp. The scheme helps BA grads with the financial cost of studying, where Crisp will study MA Fashion Menswear at the Royal College of Art in London's Kensington.

Speaking to Vogue.co.uk, Crisp said, "The BFC MA Scholarship award is really amazing and I'm extremely happy. Without this funding from the British Fashion Council, I would not have the opportunity to study at MA level and develop my designs,"

Crisp was chosen by an outstanding panel of industry experts including BFC Colleges Council chair Anne Tyrrell, BFC chief executive Caroline Rush, VOGUE.COM editor Dolly Jones, Harvey Nichols buying director Averyl Oates, and Stephen Ayres - menswear buying manager of Liberty.

I utterly love his collection, a mix of this seasons Missoni menswear and echo's of Gucci - refined and luxurious and the French chic of Givenchy, but clean, crisp and focused. I wish Thomas the best of luck at the RCA!
