London Fashion Week Look

Style : T minus three days until London Fashion Week kicks off with a fantastic line up of shows and of course, Menswear Day later next week. But what will everyone be wearing? Who will be a style star? Half the fun whilst waiting for shows to start is spotting the best looks of the day. Though in the mean time, here is my favorite pieces that can be put together, or matched with your current wardrobe, for any event and not just London Fashion Week SS10.

Seen at Glastonbury and Fashion Night Out, RayBan Wayfarers are THE iconic name in eyewear for our generation. These, which I have a pair, are tortoise shell from Equip.  But what is so different about such others? The tortoise shell is extremely hard to find, and most on-line and stand-alone stores do not have this style. And at £110, they are better value than simple black, as well as making you stand out from the crowed.

In my view, one of the hottest outwear trends for this season is the Shearling/Sheepskin Jacket. Wether faux or authentic, worn on an aviator jacket or long coat, it is a winter warmer that looks striking and is bang on trend. The most influential looks I prefer are from  OKI-NI and

Acne Sheepskin Aviator Jacket at

Maison Martin Margiela 14 OKI-NI

J W Anderson Faux Sheerling Jacket at OKI-NI. I love this, with the angled pockets and the exposed seams, together with the short body teamed with the turned up cuffs, makes this a firm favorite.

Comfortable trousers with a twist are the best London Fashion Week bottoms for fleeting from show to show, event to event. For this season I really like carrot and drop crotch pants, with these on my dream list from OKI-NI.

Lou Dalton  is one of the hottest stars of London Fashion Week, and these sublime jersey trousers with high waist are ideal for running around town.

Humor drop crotch in black are fantastic, particularly with the exposed four button opening.

With the military trend stronger than ever, and leather a factor in the shows that are currently being shown for SS11, these boots from Neil Barrett tick the box perfectly.

To finish the look off, and for practicality - because it is suprising how much 'stuff' is acquired day to day with look books and literature - this super hott, restocked Eastpak x Christopher Shannon Assault Pack Backpack is not only colorful, but comes from two of the hottest talents in London. And for bloggers, a laptop case is an essential accessory with the best coming from H by Harris with the sumptuous cobalt blue quilting.

And finally, two powerful and stunning rings from J W Anderson. Anderson has become one of the foremost menswear designers in the UK, touching on his heritage mixed with a surreal romanticism. This success is reflected in the pace at which he sells out yet these two rings are still in stock.
